Move to the Advanced plan

Available on all plans

Advanced is a plan between Pro and Business. You move to it from Settings → Billing, after a short check that your account fits the plan.

What Advanced includes

Advanced is for one person running their own jobs who also needs site attendance and the worker portal. It includes everything in Pro, plus Site Access on two projects at a time with up to 25 people who can sign in and out on site, across your account. It has one login: the account owner.

Business adds team logins and Site Access on every project. If you need either, choose Business instead.

Move to Advanced

  1. Go to Settings → Billing and select See Advanced.

The See Advanced button is on the Need site attendance and the worker portal? card, shown to the account owner on Starter or Pro. A project's Site Access page offers the same button when your plan does not include Site Access yet.

  2. Check the Before you can move to Advanced list.

Internal users: Advanced has one login, so remove other team members and cancel pending invitations on the Team page. People who can sign in on site: no more than 25 across your account; remove sign-in access from people who no longer need it on each project's Site Access page. Projects with Site Access on: no more than two; switch Site Access off on finished projects from each project's Site Access page. The page updates when you come back to it, and shows Your account is ready once everything fits.

  3. Read What happens to your billing, then continue.

With no subscription, select Continue to checkout to pay by card through our secure Stripe checkout; it starts today and you can cancel at any time. With an existing subscription, select Review the change in Stripe: Stripe shows the exact amount before you confirm. The change takes effect straight away and is prorated. On a monthly plan, moving up from Pro you pay the difference for the rest of your current billing month now, and moving down from Business the unused part of your Business month is credited to your next bill; your renewal date stays the same. On annual Pro, Advanced is monthly only: your first Advanced month is billed straight away, less a credit for the unused part of your year (any credit left over goes towards your next bills), and your renewal date moves to today. If your plan is invoiced by us, the page asks you to email [email protected] and we move it for you.

  4. Back in Settings → Billing, wait for the change to show.

You see Your move to Advanced is being confirmed with Stripe while the payment is confirmed. If the plan has not changed yet, refresh the page rather than paying again.

Moving down from Business

Settings → Billing does not offer See Advanced on Business. As the account owner, open Move to Advanced directly; the same checks and billing choices apply.

Business features such as team logins, document approvals, inspections and the plant register stop when the change takes effect. Your records stay, and they come back if you return to Business.
