Claim a partner offer (free months for members)

Available on all plans

A partner offer gives you a set number of free months on a paid plan. You'll find the details on the partner's offer page.

Claim with a partner link

  1. Open the link the partner sent you. It shows the offer, what's included and when billing would start.

  2. Click Claim … free. New here? Create your account. Already have one? Click Already have an account? Sign in to claim.

  3. If the partner asks for it, enter your membership number.

  4. Click Continue to add your card, add your card on the secure Stripe page and confirm. Nothing is charged today.

  5. You're back in The Site Book on your new plan, with every feature of that plan unlocked straight away. The page shows the date your card is first charged.

  6. New account? Click Set up your company to add your company details, so your documents carry the right name and address.

Claim with a partner code

  1. Go to the Pricing page and click Have a partner code? under the plans.

  2. Type the code and click Apply code. You'll go to the partner's offer page — then follow the steps above.

Cancel before the free months end

  1. Open Billing from the sidebar and manage your subscription. Cancel before the first payment date and you won't be charged; your account returns to Starter when the free months end.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need to add a card if it's free?

So your plan carries on without a gap when the free months end. Nothing is taken today. The first payment is on the date shown on the offer page, and you can cancel before then from Billing and never be charged.

Who can claim an offer?

New customers, and existing accounts on the free Starter plan that have never had a paid plan. An account can use one partner offer. If you are already paying, or have paid before, the offer won't apply.

It asks for my membership number. Why?

Some partners make the offer for their members only. The partner may check the number with their membership list.

It says my email address isn't allowed.

Some partners limit the offer to people signing up with their organisation's email address. Sign up with that address, or ask the partner.
