Questions before you import
- Does The Site Book carry out LOLER thorough examinations?
- No. The register records certificates, dates, evidence and review state supplied by your organisation. A competent person still carries out the examination and decides what evidence and action are required.
- Does a green item mean it is certified safe?
- No. Green means the requirements configured in the register are currently supported by the recorded evidence and dates. It never replaces pre-use checks, manufacturer guidance, a risk assessment or competent-person judgement.
- Which plans include the Plant & Equipment Register?
- Business includes the complete register for the company's own plant and equipment. Site Control inherits it as part of the full Business product. Starter and Pro do not include Plant.
- Can I use my existing spreadsheet?
- Yes. Import the .xlsx or .csv you already use, review the detected columns and choose whether matched asset numbers are skipped or updated. Blank cells do not erase unrelated existing details.
