On a free template page you can have the editable Word version emailed to you instead of, or as well as, downloading it.
Have a template emailed to you
Open the free template page for the document you need
For example the RAMS template or construction phase plan template page.
Find the Email me the editable version box
It is under the Download PDF and Download Word (.docx) buttons.
Type your email address
Tick Also send me occasional tips on CDM paperwork if you want them
Leave it unticked if you only want the template.
Click Email it to me
The email has a Download the Word file button and a link to the PDF.
If you ticked the tips box
The same email has a Confirm email updates button. We only send tips after you press it. The link expires after two days; if it expires, nothing else is sent.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to give my email address to get a template?
No. The PDF and Word downloads on each free template page work without an email address. The email box is optional, for when you want the file in your inbox to fill in later.
Will I get marketing emails?
Only if you tick the tips box and then press Confirm email updates in the email we send. Without that, you get the template email and nothing else. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
The email hasn't arrived. What can I do?
Check your spam folder. We send one template email to an address in any 24 hours, so a second request the same day sends nothing new. You can always use Download PDF or Download Word on the page instead.
