See what's new in The Site Book

Available on all plans

The Site Book changes most weeks. What's New is the running list of what has actually gone live, so you can catch up on anything you missed without hunting through emails.

Open What's New

  1. Go to thesitebook.co.uk/changelog.

Or, on any of our public pages (Pricing, Features, Help), scroll to the footer and pick What's New under Resources — that footer is not shown inside the signed-in app. It is a public page either way, so you can share a link to an entry with your team.

  2. Read down the page — the newest change is at the top.

Each entry shows the date it went live and a short plain-English description of what changed and why it matters on site.

  3. Where an entry shows a How to link, follow it to learn how to use the feature.

Those links open the Help Centre article for that feature, so you can go from 'that sounds useful' to the step-by-step in one click. Not every entry has one — some changes, like a faster menu or a new page on our website, need no instructions.

Check whether a change applies to you

Some features are included on higher plans. Where that is the case the entry says so at the point it describes the feature — for example 'On Pro and above' or 'On Business and above'. If your plan is below that, the feature is not switched on for your account.

Entries tagged Early access are not generally available yet. Those describe how to ask for access rather than where to click.

To check which plan you are on, open Settings, then Billing. See Plans, billing and your data for what each plan includes.

Ask the assistant instead

If you would rather ask than read, the in-app chat answers from these same help articles. Ask it something like 'what's new?' or 'how do I use the crew sign-off link?' and it will point you to the relevant article.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the What's New page?

It is at thesitebook.co.uk/changelog. You can also reach it from the footer of our public pages — Pricing, Features, Help and so on — under Resources, What's New. That footer is not part of the signed-in app, so from inside your account type the address or use the clickable link in the steps below. You do not need to be signed in either way.

How often is it updated?

We add an entry when a change worth telling you about reaches the live site, which is most weeks. Entries are dated by the day it went live, not the day we finished building it — so something we have finished may not appear until it has been released to everyone.

Why can I not see a feature listed there?

Two common reasons. It may be included on a higher plan than yours — each entry names the plan it needs, so check that line first. Or it may still be finishing testing: anything marked Early access is not switched on for everyone yet, and the entry says how to ask for it.

Does it list fixes as well as features?

No. The page covers changes you would notice as a builder — new features, improvements to existing ones, and new guides. Routine bug fixes and behind-the-scenes work are not listed.
