Build your method statements on the Methods tab
Available on all plans
Open your project and click the Methods tab. This is your sequence of works: every task the job involves, each with a step-by-step safe system of work that becomes your RAMS method statements. Changes here are saved to this project only.
Add and personalise tasks
Open Add trade task and search the library.
Tasks are grouped by trade — plumbing, roofing, groundworks and so on.
Expand a task to edit its Method Statement.
Changes save automatically when you tap outside the box. Edited tasks show a "Personalised" badge, with Reset to default if you want the library version back.
Reorder with Move up / Move down to match how the job actually runs.
Custom work types
For work that isn't in the standard library, use Add custom work type: pick from your own library or Create new with a trade, task name and method statement. Tick Save to my library for reuse (on by default) and it's available on every future project. Custom tasks appear after the library tasks in your method statements.
When the list is right, generate the RAMS — the "What you're doing" step shows the same tasks.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my RAMS refuse to generate without a task?
A RAMS must include a method statement, and method statements are built from your trade tasks. Add at least one task on the Methods tab (or in the RAMS wizard's "What you're doing" step) and it unlocks.
My trade or task isn't in the library — what do I do?
Add it under "Custom work types": set the trade, task name and method statement, and tick "Save to my library for reuse" so it's there for the next job.
If I edit a method statement here, does the issued RAMS change?
No — generated documents are frozen snapshots. Edit the task, then regenerate the RAMS so the PDF picks up your wording, and workers re-sign the new version.
