Edit project details — and set emergency info once

Available on all plans

Open your project and click the Details tab. Everything that describes the job lives here in five sections — and because documents render from these fields, keeping them right keeps your paperwork right.

What's in each section

Project Details — title, scope, reference, dates, estimated workers. Site — the address (pick from Use a saved site if you've saved one), directions, access and delivery arrangements. People — client, principal designer, architect, engineer, works supervisor, with Use saved contact pickers. Safety — site rules, welfare facilities, key risks, training requirements. Emergency Information — see below.

Click Save Changes when you're done.

Emergency Information — set once, used everywhere

Fire strategy, fire assembly point, emergency procedures, emergency scenarios, utility isolation points, nearest hospital and first aid arrangements are entered once here. Your CPP, RAMS, Site Induction and Emergency Plan all render from these fields — the wizards never ask for them again.

Remember that generated documents are frozen snapshots: if you change emergency details after generating, regenerate the affected documents so the PDFs match.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't the RAMS wizard ask for my assembly point?

Because you set it once on the project's Details tab, under Emergency Information. Your CPP, RAMS, Site Induction and Emergency Plan all draw from there — you're never asked twice. Change it in one place and regenerate the documents that use it.

Can I change my CDM role after creating the project?

Yes — the top of the Details tab has the role selector (Principal Contractor, Only Contractor, Subcontractor). Changing it adjusts which documents and tabs apply.

How do I find the nearest A&E?

In the Emergency Information section, click "Look up nearest A&E from the site address" — it finds the closest hospital from your site postcode. You can also type it manually.
