Site inspections and corrective actions

Business and above

Open your project and click the Inspections tab (Business and above). Inspections keep findings and their fixes attached to the project — evidence that issues were spotted *and* closed out.

Record an inspection

  1. Under Record an inspection, give it a title and the location checked.

The title defaults to "Site walkaround".

  2. Write your notes — or draft them and click Summarise with AI.

  3. Add corrective actions: what's needed, who's responsible, due when — Add corrective action.

  4. Click Save inspection.

Close things out

Each record in Inspection records shows its status (draft, open, complete, archived) and its actions. Move actions along with In progress and Done, add late-found items with Add corrective action, and press Mark inspection complete when everything's closed.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes inspections?

Business and above. The tab is visible on every plan so you can see what it does; below Business it shows the upgrade path instead of records.

Can I assign an action to someone on site?

Yes — each corrective action takes a responsible person and a due date, and actions can be assigned to portal users. Track them Open → In progress → Done.

What does "Summarise with AI" do?

It turns your rough walkaround notes into a tidy inspection summary — you review it before saving, like everything AI-drafted.
