Site inductions: generate, deliver and collect signatures

A site induction is the document every person on site signs before starting work. Generate it once per project; the crew signs digitally from their phones.
Inductions are included on every plan — Starter's one free real project covers generating the induction and collecting signatures, with no card required, so you can run your first site induction before paying for anything. See Plans, billing and your data for what each plan adds.
In the signed-in mobile app, the induction editor collects reporting procedures. Site rules, PPE, hazards and worker sign-off come from the project and its current workers; edit those project facts in their own screens. Earlier mobile answers are shown for explicit review before the new editor can replace a saved draft. If a connection fails after Submit, use Resume Site Induction generation and Check generation result to recover the same request and exact version.
Generate the induction
On a phone, the Step 1 of 2 · Incident Reporting bar above the wizard shows where you are — tap it to list both steps and jump back to any you've completed.
Open your project, go to the Documents tab and start the Site Induction.
The wizard pulls the site rules, emergency details and welfare arrangements from your project — confirm rather than retype.
Review, approve and it's ready to sign.
The induction appears on the Documents tab with its Worker Sign-Off panel directly underneath. Tapping Approve again after a lost connection shows the approved version, not an error — the approval has already landed.
What the AI draft will and won't say
The induction drafts only from your project's own details — the AI never invents site facts (existing roads, gates, parking, building age) or people's names, and anything your project doesn't record is written as "to be confirmed" rather than guessed. Fill in your project and site details first for the best draft, and review it before approving.
Collect the signatures
Send the crew sign-off link — every active worker automatically gets the induction in their portal, and signatures appear live on the Worker Sign-Off panel. If you regenerate the induction, everyone re-signs the new version.
Multilingual crews (Business and above)
On Business and above, workers can read key site H&S details in their own language at the gate and in the portal. The language menu becomes available when the page is ready; choose a language once, then wait for the translated induction to appear before continuing. Review what they'll see under your project's Access tab → Induction translations, or in the mobile app under the project's Site access screen → Induction translations — regenerating a language there asks you to confirm first. English stays the authoritative record.

Can I try a site induction free?
Yes — site inductions are included on every plan. Starter gives you one free real project with no card required: create your account, set up that project, then generate the induction from its Documents tab. Upgrade to Pro at £39/mo when you need project two, your logo or PDFs without the Starter watermark.
How do workers sign the induction?
Send the project's crew sign-off link. Each worker picks their name, reads the induction on their phone and signs — every induction automatically requires sign-off from every active worker on the project.
What happens when I add a worker after the induction is generated?
New active workers are enrolled for sign-off too — the Worker Sign-Off panel shows them as pending until they've read and signed.
Which languages are available for multilingual crews?
On Business and above, key site H&S details can be shown to workers in Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese and Spanish. English is always the authoritative record, and you can review every translation before workers see it.
