The Advanced plan: what it includes and how its limits work
Advanced and above
Advanced is £99/mo, billed monthly. It includes everything in Pro, plus site attendance, the live sign-in register, attendance history and exports, evacuation roll-call, and the worker portal for site files and updates.
It is designed for a firm run by one person: the account owner is the only management login. Advanced includes up to 25 people who can sign in and out on site, across your account, and Site Access on two projects at a time. Paperwork projects and documents stay unlimited, as on Pro.
What is included
Everything in Pro: unlimited projects and documents, branded PDFs, COSHH, worker cert tracking, site diary, permits, incidents, toolbox talks and the integrations.
On up to two projects at a time, switch on Site Access from the project's Access tab. On those projects you get the site portal for workers, subcontractors and visitors, check-in and check-out, the live sign-in register, attendance history with exports, evacuation roll-call, site files and site updates. Workers on projects are unlimited. Add as many workers to your projects as you like. Signing documents never uses a place.
The three limits
Sign-in places: up to 25 people who can sign in and out on site, across your account. A person uses a place only while they have sign-in access on a project with Site Access switched on. They count once, however many of those projects they are on. Past attendance and signatures never count. How sign-in places work.
Site Access projects: Site Access on two projects at a time. Unlimited paperwork projects. Switch Site Access off on a finished project to use it on another one.
Management logins: one, the account owner.
What Advanced does not include
These stay on Business: team logins and Site Supervisors, sign-off PIN management, document review and named approvals, inspections and corrective actions, the plant and equipment register, subcontractor evidence and review tools, the subcontractor compliance hub and project closeout, and Slack Site Ready.
Site Control features stay on Site Control, including the site entrance QR and contractor self-join, CSCS checks, RFIs, plot sign-off, Procore, webhooks, the public API, single sign-on and Microsoft 365.
Move to Advanced
Open the Move to Advanced page as the account owner.
On Starter or Pro, go to Settings, then Billing, and select See Advanced. On Business, the billing page has no Advanced button: open Move to Advanced directly.

It shows the price and what is included, then checks your account fits Advanced: your team logins and pending invitations, how many people can sign in on site against the 25 places, and how many projects have Site Access switched on against the two allowed.
Select Continue to checkout, or Review the change in Stripe if you already pay by card.
From Pro there is nothing to prepare: Pro has no team and no Site Access. From Business, remove every team member and cancel pending invitations from the Team page first, because Advanced has only the owner login.
Move from Advanced to Business
Go to Settings, then Billing, and select Upgrade to Business on the Advanced plan card (an invoiced Advanced plan: email [email protected]). Stripe shows the exact charge for the rest of your billing month before you confirm, and your renewal date stays the same. Once you confirm, Business features apply: team logins, Site Access on every project, and Business includes 50 people who can sign in on site, with more available. If your account previously had an agreed higher Business limit, it comes back automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 25 a limit per project?
No. Advanced includes up to 25 people who can sign in and out on site, across your account. Someone who can sign in on both of your Site Access projects counts once. It is not 25 per project, not 25 check-ins at once and not 25 new people a month.
Do workers who only sign documents use a place?
No. Add as many workers to your projects as you like. Signing documents never uses a place, and nor does being on a paperwork project without Site Access.
Can I add a team member on Advanced?
No. Advanced has one management login: the account owner. Team logins, admins and Site Supervisors are part of Business.
Can I pay for Advanced yearly?
No. Advanced is £99/mo, billed monthly only. You can cancel from Settings, then Billing, with no minimum term.
What happens if a payment fails on Advanced?
The same as Pro. The account keeps working while the payment is retried, and the account owner sees a banner with a link to update the card. If the payment still has not gone through after 10 days, the account moves back to Starter and becomes read-only until payment is sorted. Your projects, documents and attendance records are kept.
Does Advanced include inspections or document approvals?
No. Document review and named approvals, inspections and corrective actions, the plant and equipment register, subcontractor evidence and review tools, the subcontractor compliance hub and project closeout, sign-off PIN management and Slack Site Ready are part of Business.
